Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

We also use cookies and analysis services when you visit our website. You will find more detailed explanations in the corresponding provisions of this privacy policy.

Contact, offer and inquiry forms are available on our website and these can be used to contact us electronically. If a user makes use of such an option, the data entered in the entry screen will be transmitted to us and stored.

The processing of personal data from the entry screen in particular aids in our processing of the contact. The personal data entered in the entry screen is also used to protect our confidentiality interests and prevent misuse of the contact, offer and inquiry form, in particular by determining from whom an inquiry originates. In doing so, we rely on the aforementioned legitimate interest and therefore the legal basis of Art. 31(1) DSG or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, if applicable.

You have the option at any time to revoke your consent to the processing of personal data for the future. In this case, your inquiry can no longer be processed.

6. Applications

Our current vacancies are always published on our websites. In this regard, we refer you to the separate data protection information in the relevant section.

7. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device and do not contain any viruses, Trojans or other malware.

Information that arises each time a connection with the specific end device used is established is stored in the cookie. However, this does not mean that we obtain direct knowledge of your identity.

On the one hand, the use of cookies acts to make the use of our website more pleasant for you. We use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These cookies are automatically deleted after you leave our site.

In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness. These cookies are stored on your end device for a specified period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it will automatically detect that you have already visited us and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.

On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you (see clause 5). These cookies enable us to automatically detect that you have already visited our site when you return. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time. The use of cookies required for technical purposes and for the related processing of your data is carried out on the legal basis of our legitimate interests in the design of a user-friendly website in accordance with Art. 31(1) DSG or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, insofar as this provision is applicable.

If we use cookies that are not necessary for technical purposes and process personal data about you in this context, we require your consent in accordance with Art. 31(1) DSG or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, insofar as this provision is applicable.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. Nevertheless, the complete deactivation of cookies may result in you being unable to use all the functionalities of our website.

The cookies and tracking methods used on our website originate either from us or from third-party providers. These third-party providers can record user behavior on the website. These records can be linked by the respective provider with similar information from other websites. The behavior of certain website visitors can therefore be recorded across several websites and several end devices. The respective third-party provider may also use this data for its own purposes. If you are registered with the respective third-party provider, it can link the data. With regard to this data processing, we refer to the data protection provisions of the respective provider.

8. Analysis tools / tracking tools

We use analysis services to evaluate how you arrived at our websites and how you use them.

We process your personal data in this context on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 31(1) DSG or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, if this provision is applicable, or, if we do not require consent, on the basis of our legitimate interest in the design of our website in accordance with Art. 31(1) DSG or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, if applicable.

With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the continuous optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you.

The respective purposes for the data processing and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools.

We use Google Conversion Tracking to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our website for you. This service enables Google Ads to place a cookie (see clause 4) on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Google ad.

These cookies become invalid after 30 days and are not used for the purpose of personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Ads customer's website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be traced back to customers via the websites of Ads customers. The information retrieved via the conversion cookie is used to prepare conversion statistics for Ads customers who have decided to make use of conversion tracking. Ads customers are informed of the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and who have been redirected to a page that contains a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.

If you do not want to participate in the tracking process, you can block the use of cookies which would be required for tracking – for example via a browser setting which universally disables the automatic use of cookies. You can also disable the cookies for conversion tracking by configuring your browser so that cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com" are blocked. You can find Google's privacy policy on conversion tracking here (https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html).

We also use Google Tag Manager, which can be used to manage analysis and tracking tags via an interface. This function works to the extent that a page load process is detected by the Tag Manager. Depending on the configuration, a Google Analytics tag is triggered when the website is loaded. The data from this tag is then sent back to the Google Analytics server so that a pseudonymized analysis of user behavior can be carried out. No cookies are set by Google Tag Manager and no personal data is collected. Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html.

When you visit our social media sites, further data such as your user behavior may be collected and linked with other data already known to the provider and used for other purposes, such as marketing or personalization of content by the provider.

We only pass on your personal data to third parties if the person concerned has expressly consented, if there is a legal obligation to do so or if such an action is necessary to enforce our rights, in particular to enforce our claims arising from a contractual relationship and for credit checks.

We also use service providers, in particular for hosting, IT support, online marketing activities, website operation, newsletter delivery, contact management, implementing advertising and marketing measures and the recruitment process. We select our service providers carefully and are obliged by law to monitor data processing by these companies and to oblige them not to process the data for their own purposes or to pass it on to unauthorized third parties.

12. Data transmission abroad

We forward your personal data to third parties or external service providers abroad for the purpose of the data processing described in this privacy policy. Forwarding mainly takes place in the European Economic Area (EEA) and member states of the European Union (EU). From Switzerland's point of view, these countries have adequate data protection policies.

If we transfer data to a recipient in a country without adequate legal data protection (e.g., in the context of the use of cookies and tracking/analysis tools), we provide technical and contractual assurance (e.g., through so-called standard contractual clauses; Art. 46 (1)(c) GDPR or Art. 16(2)(d) DSG) that your data is adequately protected or we obtain your consent for these data transfers (in accordance with Art. 49 GDPR and Art. 6(1)(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 17(1)(a) DSG if applicable).

13. Storage period

We process and store your personal data for as long as necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual and legal obligations, for evidence purposes or for the fulfilment of the purposes of data processing stated by us or required by the circumstances. Your data will then be deleted.

14. Rights of data subjects

The following provides information on your rights in connection with the personal data that is processed about you. Please note that these rights may be restricted in individual cases, for example, if such a restriction is necessary to protect other persons, to safeguard legitimate interests or to comply with legal obligations.

You have the right to request information about the kind of personal data that is being processed. You also have the right to request the rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of your data and, where applicable, the right to data portability.

If the data processing is based on a public or legitimate interest, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time. If you file an objection, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate that there are legitimate compelling grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing is required for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

If your personal data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of such marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for the purpose of direct advertising.

If applicable to you, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

You are entitled to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time.

15. Cyber security

During the website visit, we use the widespread SSL method (secure socket layer) in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. As a rule, this involves 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. Whether or not any individual page of our website is encrypted for transmission is indicated by means of the closed or open lock symbol in the status line of your browser.

We also utilize suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against random or deliberate manipulation, partial or full loss, destruction and unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

16. Up-to-dateness of and amendments to this privacy policy
